Can I recover deleted photos due to missed iCloud payment?

Wondering if you may have stored a back-up containing your older Photos: The support article:

Backup methods for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support may give a clue.

or

Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud - Apple Support may help remember.

You can also see how to: Locate backups of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

You may still have copies (or back-ups) of older emails in which you shared photos with others.

If so, you could likely retrieve those particular photos

or

Family and friends may still have copies of some of your older photos that they can re-send to you.

You can download whatever you see at your account at iCloud.com, but two years is a long time! Your best bet is to look there and see. I don't think that there is any hope of recovering any pictures that you don't see there.
