To use iCloud on this phone

Just recently got the message “to use iCloud on this phone you must accept iCloud’s terms and conditions and enter your passcode “ Now after reading all your comments from over a year ago, it’s now Nov. 2024 I don’t think I’ll do it. Apple is the one that will lose money if I don’t use iCloud anymore. And I just signed into this website with my fingerprint. Well I guess I’ll see what happens if I don’t do anything. Do companies have the right to ask for your passcode?
