Wired CarPlay Not Working After Using Wireless CarPlay On Another Vehicle
So on October 12, I dropped off my 2021 Kia forte GT to the dealership for some warranty work unrelated to the entertainment system. While they had the car, I had a 2024 Kia K5 as a loaner which had wireless CarPlay. Once my car was finished and I picked it up. I tried to connect my phone to the radio like I always did. It would only connect to the radio via Bluetooth and CarPlay would not register. I did a full hard reset on my iPhone 15 Pro running iOS 18.1 with no avail. I have deleted both the Bluetooth and previous vehicle Wi-Fi. I also deleted my phone from the radio itself and did a hard reset. I have no vocal shortcuts. I have tried three different cables, which all worked perfectly fine before. The port on my phone and on my car are both clean as well. Just like with everyone else I'm seeing here, it registers as charging but the CarPlay does not work. I don't know what else to do other than wait for a patch update.
