Why are powerpoint slides not uploading like they used to in apple notes

Earlier when I used to upload slides on notes app they would automatically expand but ever since I have update to IOS18, it just uploads as a normal attachment and I am unable to expand it to annotate them for future revision. Is anybody else facing this issue? Please let me know if there is something ican change in my settings to get it back to normal. Thank you.
