There are two different forms of the " i " information icon. There's a simple " i " in a circle, like this:

And there's an enhanced version, like this:

which doesn't even have in " i " in it! This version has "visual look up" in which it will give extra information that it finds about the nature of the picture. In this case the Info Window suggests that this is a Monarch Butterfly. It can take a while before Visual Lookup has scanned all the images in a Library, so it may pop up later than you think.

In both cases, the Info Window icon is between the Favorite icon and the Edit icon.
