Hi Grandpalok,
Re: Can AirPods Pro 2 help me hear better with hearing loss?
Seems a hearing professional would likely give the best advice. We are all Apple users, like yourself, in the community, so no-one here can speak for Apple, or advise on health issues.
Now that your discussion thread is underway ... unless others with first-hand experience in using the new feature reply ... best we can do, is to link you up with the info. available from Apple.
Apple support makes lots of info. about the AirPods Pro 2 hearing features available online (links below)
Seems, with iOS 18.1, new hearing-aid features became available in those countries where authorities similar to the TGA in USA have already given approval.
You can check if your country is listed for the:

if you want to know: There's more "how to" details on the three features.

Note: Seems those with "mild to moderate" hearing loss tests will be eligible to use the new features.
We can not know for sure whether any individual's hearing experience will be improved or not.
Here's Apple's website about AirPods Pro 2 Hearing Health:

All the best :-)
Your hearing loss is classed as severe in your right ear and if you take a hearing test on Apple Hearing test they won't work and the app will suggest you visit an Audiologist.
The Airpod Pro 2s are only for mild to moderate hearing loss.
I do know of people with severe hearing loss that love them for music and TV but they are very much a back up to their normal hearing aids. A visit to the audiologist in Costco where you can have a professional hearing test will.be worth doing. They have hearing aid options that are cheaper than anywhere else.
If you are in the UK get a referral from your doctor and you can get "free" hearing aids. Waiting times vary considerably depending on where you live in UK.
