Alarm ⏰ not playing lossless track I added after iOS 18.1 on 13 Pro Max 1T
I encountered this issue sometime ago upgrading to a previous iOS and it took some time but my alarm clock has worked for good while now. But this just happened again after upgrading iOS to 18.1 and it’s the first time I’ve downloaded a new song, however in lossless since the upgrade, and the alarm clock is defaulting to the generic sound and not playing the track again. I cannot remember, though whether I did re-download my other Alarm Clock tracks by going into settings and turning off lossless, and then after getting the alarm to work changing my settings, back to lossless for quality play, but I have connected tracks that are lossless previously and they did work so I’m just Wondering if this problem has been re-created with the update or not, but I do find it odd that Alarm Clock does not accept any format in the iTunes library. It is simply too many steps to take and I really don’t want to try right now and rather wait till I get some feedback on this
