Casting Apple Music from Apple TV to Google Home Speakers

Hi Apple Community,

How come we’re nearly in 2025, and the ability to cast Apple Music to Google Home speaker groups is still not a built-in feature? This has been a huge frustration for me and is honestly the only thing stopping me from fully committing to Apple Music, even though I love it.

I’ve tried all the suggested methods to cast Apple Music from my iPhone and Apple TV to a group of Google Home speakers (like using AirPlay, third-party apps, etc.), but nothing works seamlessly. It’s either inconsistent or just not compatible.

Does anyone know if there’s a fix or workaround that actually works reliably? Or is there a timeline from Apple on when this feature might become available?

I feel like this is such a basic feature that many users would benefit from. If Apple Music wants to compete with other streaming services, this seems like a no-brainer to implement.
