Apple car play issues with ios 18.1

I have a GMC terrain 2019. I used to connect to my apple car play before just fine, but just after I updated my phone to the last ios 18.1 update started having issues. Every time I connect my phone with the cable my car screen start flicking and turn off as soon as i connect to apple play. I try rebooting my phone and the setting are right for apple car play. If you guys know a solution please let me know. Iphone 13 pro max
