My Mail app stopped working on my iPhone 14 Plus after 18.1 update

After my phone updated to the 18.1 series my mail stopped working on my iPhone

I took it off

and readded it

my comcast email is non existent but I can get iCloud and gmail

i reset my phone which brought back all the emails but cannot open it

tried turning airplane mode on and off uninstalled and reinstalled

reset by turning off the phone

nothing

please advise
