Why can't HomePods initiated play Apple Music and include Mac Studio Display speakers?

It seems like if I initiate Apple Music from my Apple Studio M2/Studio Display I'm able to play on my computer and all my HomePods across my house using Airplay successfully. However when I tell a HomePod to play Apple Music on "all speakers" it plays only across all HomePods (and my Bose Soundtouch 300 ironically) but does not engage my Studio Display speakers... that is annoying. I use my Studio Display as my home office's speaker instead of having a HomePod in that room. Am I the only one with this problem?
