have magic mouse no good. my wireless keyboard does not have a port to connect via usb can't open up to type in password. I have a keyboard I can connect via usb just have to get to the screen to type password

Get yourself a usb keyboard and mouse and use those to re-pair your Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. They are cheap and necessary for troubleshooting Bluetooth keyboard and mice issues.
You might need a USB-A to USB-C adapter to use most keyboards with a Mac.

I have just found that out. Especially given I have an old Mac. Will keep on hand for just this issue which do not need
iMac keyboard and mouse not connected to let me in
