Cannot send email with gmx.us email account. Can receive gmx.us email.

Send with gmx.us email returns invalid email address error even though receiving gmx.us works fine. Obviously an issue email validation BUG but will Apple be fix it??? I can obviously fix in an hour myself by buying a cheap laptop at BB but kinda feel like my $1200 Mac should be able to handle basic email !
