How to resolve App Store launching issues on my MacBook Air?

Whenever I try to open the App Store it will open partially, but it won't stop loading. It will not launch, and I have to force quit. Also, when I go into the settings, it has a couple apple account suggestions, and when I click on the action it loads and nothing happens. This is a brand new MacBook that I just bought and set up today. How do I fix this?
