Airpods not working properly

I have had my Airpods pro for about a year and recently my left airpod stopped charging, i found out the firmware isnt updating and its stuck on 6f8, my iphone is up to date as well. I cant reset the airpods either as it stays amber unless i take the non functional airpod out, and now whenever i put my functioning airpod inside the case it shows as mismatched and the case isn’t mine. I have never had a replacement and these are original airpods that came with the case. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

B. Try the Following Tasks:

Hold Down the Button on the case for about 15 seconds.

Use an Apple Brand Cable - not a third party one - cool though it may look, a fabric, third-part cable would likely tear - (Apple cable's are plastic and are intended for Apple)

Remove the AirPod from the Case, then place it back in the charger. Perhaps it need to resync with he charger.
