Not deleting recurring event on iPhone Calendar

I am using several Macs, iPad, and an iPhone. I use Outlook or Calendar on the Macs and Outlook or Calendar on iPhone and iPad. I deleted a series of meetings from my Exchange Calendar. It is gone everywhere. Macs Outlook and Calendar gone. iPad Outlook and Calendar gone. iPhone Outlook gone. iPhone Calendar still there.
