Display won't automatically turn off when I set it to do so because of my new keyboard

Hi everyone, I have my imac (sonoma 14.2) set to turn display off after 10 mins of being inactive. I have this setting since I first used this imac, and it has never been a problem.

However, after changing from the magic keyboard (that comes with the imac) to my new wired mechanical keyboard (Leobog hi75), it stops working and my screen stays on for day until i put it into sleep mode myself. My setting hasn't been changed and my keyboard LED light is not on as well (in case that's considered active), which led me to think this is the issue since it's the only thing that changed. Is the new keyboard really the issue and is there anyway for it to automatically go to sleep with this new keyboard?
