How to resume app download after internet is interrupted?

I want to download a 1.5GB app and am currently located in a place with stable connection overall however once in a while it drops off for couple of minutes.

Each time I get 50% of the app before the cutoff and when internet connection resumes, the download starts over and does not continue from the place it left.

Is there a setting option or a hack that would allow me to finish the download in two “parts”?

I tried to download multiple times already and it is more than minor inconvenience as it eats my data allowance.
