I have all my media files for the TV app on my iMac's 2TB internal drive. The files are now using most of the storage capacity. I want to move the files to an external drive. How do I do this? I'm on Sonoma 14.7.1.

Drag the entire library containing them to the drive in the Finder, launch TV with the Option key held down, and choose that library.
