iOS 18.1 CarPlay issues

ios 18.1 CarPlay issues. iPhone 16 pro.

Let me preface this by saying I have google maps on the screen all the time.

#1: when a text comes in, the name of the person doesn’t drop down from top of the screen for me to see. The only way I know I have a text, is if I hear the chime on my phone.

#2: when dictating a text or wanting Siri to read an incoming text, the background music doesn’t mute. So I have to turn up the volume, which seems to be separate from the music volume.

#3: if I’m parked, I’m listening to music, why does it mute if I pick up my phone?

Anyone else having these issues?
