Numbers update now documents gone

First I need to say that yes I backup to the cloud iCloud, and when I did a recent update to Numbers on 11.04.2024 my spreadsheets disappeared. I went into the cloud and the folders they were saved in are there but it says there is nothing in the folders. My storage is not maxed either. Also, I used to grab the spreadsheet from "recents" and that only has 1 sheet in it now and it's not the one I need. Where did it go and how do I get it back?
