Sharing Google calendar with iPhone : Insecure Connection

When trying to share my partners Google calendar via URL with me, I keep getting the 'Insecure Connection' error message and can't proceed. I've read about this a lot but there wasn't any satisfying answer. I tried with Wifi and with 5G but nothing worked. Does anyone know a workaround?
