iOS 18.1 GPS CarPlay Issues

Currently on iOS 18.1. This issue started out on iOS 18 itself and is still creating issues on latest build as well. Would like to understand if Apple is working on this bug.

While on CarPlay with Navigation on either Apple Maps or Google Maps, the location sort of jumps to the middle of the ocean on the other side of the planet for a while and then resets to the actual location. This happens throughout the journey on regular intermittent intervals. Due to this have muted the voice directions as every time it resets it repeats the current action to be taken.

I am in India and it keeps jumping to Gulf of Guinea. It becomes worse when you are using the phone while on CarPlay.

I know others are also facing the same issue. Would like to get some information on whether this is being addressed on iOS 18.2 atleast.
