Music app issue after upgrade to Sequoia OS 15.1
iMac 5K 27 inch 2019 3.7 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5 64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 memory. Mouse is Razer Deathadder Elite and hardwired to iMac. Apple keyboard also hardwired. I upgraded to Sequoia 15.1 everything ran fine for a few days. Everything still runs fine except the Music app it does not respond to right click on mouse, I get no dropdown. It does not respond to key commands i.e. command i, I get the error bleep. I can play music, but only one song at a time from the playlist. I can select all from keyboard in playlist, but can go no further. These commands on the keyboard and the right click on the mouse work fine in every other aspect on my iMac except in the Music app.
Tried dropdown at top right of playlist see image below.
I have restarted both my iMac several times as well as the Music app several times. I checked that the Music app recognized this iMac.
My music is also on an external My Passport 4T drive which is connected to ACASIS 7 Ports 36W USB 3.0 Data Hub with individual On/Off switches and a power adapter. When playing music I only have the one port which contains the drive that holds my music (MP3s) active. There’s 355.71GB of music files within that drive, I don’t imagine there’s a limit(?)
I’ve swapped ports on the hub with another same make drive and though it does not contain MP3 music files ( they’re MP4 movie files) nor is it linked to the Music app the files within show a dropdown menu when I right click on them and the files respond to the commands. I’ve removed my music drive from the hub and connected directly to my iMac in a different port and still the same result.
