Pending Purchase in App Store despite sufficient funds

I have checked back and forth between my bank and the app store where it shows my purchases but for some reason it still says pending even after 4-5 days of waiting for a statement. I have enough money in my bank account and am now just waiting for the money to be pulled so that I can no what total funds i have left for the week.
