CarPlay dropped & not reconnecting 2023 RAM 1500 Limited

Have had CarPlay running since RAM purchase 06/2023. Had issue unrelated to CarPlay and dealer replaced “radio” two days ago. Drivers dash dropped info, battery drained. They got some of it back but thought issue was the “radio”. Of course I know “radio” is a simplistic word for the part. CarPlay was working when I picked it up, then dropped out of the blue while driving the next day and I haven’t been able to get it back. I’ve tried and checked the following:

1. Reconnecting through ISB and Bluetooth. CarPlay isn’t recognized on Bluetooth but comes up as a separate line with a different name and a greyed out setting button with ISB. Did this multiple times. Have photo of needed of screen.
2. Disconnecting/ deleting RAM from phone and phone from RAM. Then reconnecting with same results as above.
3. Checked permissions in iPhone settings and they are on.

Dealer says phone is the issue. Not the RAM. iPhone was on v 17.6.1. Just updated this am to 17.7.1 but I that will change anything. Other suggestions?
