Google Maps spinning in Carplay

When I select google maps when in my car using Carplay, the maps spin at many intersections. This has been discussed before but Apple never responds. I've never posted before and admit my ignorance, but it seems that Apple doesn't care. I know that Google is a competitor, but doesn't apple care at all? It seems to me that several things are buggy in Carplay. Apple, please address this issue!!!
