Moving email to a new folder, suggested destinations are worthless

Running Apple email on my iPhone and iPad,, there is a nice feature which, when you bring up "move" to move an email message to a different folder, will make suggestions as to where to put it, probably based on previous mail messages that exhibit some content in common with the one being dealt with. But mine appears to have gone rogue. The "Move to" suggestion is totally out of whack, always suggests the same destination folder, regardless of the actual message content. Where are the suggestions for what folder to move to stored, are they editable or resettable?
