Import Library in Apple Music for Windows

I would like to switch my Apple Music Library to a Windows 11 PC. I have music also from CDs or created by myself, so just downloading the music from Apple again doesn't work.

I've created from Apple Music for Mac an XML File from my Library and modified the pathes to the music files, so they match for Windows. But i dont see any option in Apple Music for Windows to import the XML file.

How can that be done?

Apple Music for Windows doesn't have features for importing or exporting libraries or playlists. If you've modified the XML correctly you might be able to import the file to iTunes for Windows. You need to uninstall Apple Music, TV & Devices before installing iTunes for it to work correctly with music content. Once the iTunes library is working correctly you should be able to delete or at least rename whatever Apple Music library you've already created, then install Apple Music which should convert the existing iTunes library to Apple Music. Personally I would skip this last step and stick with iTunes, which is a more useful app in Windows.
