Still getting calendar notifications when do not disturb is on

Having this problem across multiple Macs running Ventura. Within Focus settings -> Do Not Disturb on both Macs, there are no allowed people or allowed apps under the Allow Notifications menu. I am still getting pop up notifications for calendar events while do not disturb is on.

More odd is that I am running BusyCal on both Macs, but on my iMac, the Apple Calendar app seems to be the offender, while on my MacBook Pro, it looks like BusyCal is the offender with the pop-up reminders. I really need to fix this issue, as I need to turn these off while presenting to large groups of students etc.

Further oddness is that under Notification settings on the iMac, I can see the options for BusyCal and the Apple Calendar App, but on the MacBook Pro, I only see the settings for BusyCal and the Apple Calendar App is not listed.
