A few month ago I found myself with lots of Mail Folders.
The Apple mail didn't work property - Apple support advise not to create / use lots of folders.
Any recommendation by experiance for creating and naming folders will be appreciated.

I would check your email providers website and see what is on their servers what you can combine or eliminate to have it reflect on Mail.

I have Gmail and Apple Mail.
Regarding Apple Mail : same folders and data in Apple mail website.
Also in google account
