Is it common for Apple to sell apps that don't work or work incorrectly

Is it common for Apple to sell apps that don't function properly or have bugs? It’s quite an amusing question. I recently purchased an app that has been malfunctioning—when the metadata is removed, the app corrupts the file. The app costs around £15, which is about the coffee and a piece of cake. What I find most surprising, however, is Apple's unusual approach to this issue.

Faulty apps are being sold, which undermines trust in the Apple team. Additionally, the tone of Apple's response resembles conversations from the deep slavery era. I expect at least an explanation, especially since we are not discussing a significant amount of money here.

Apple should respect consumers in real or pretend more.

Conclusion: there are limits to everything.

Application purchased on 5 October 2024. 7 October Apple's response -If there is no refund, explain why or provide a well-working app. What is the quality of the app you are selling? Is it safe for the user?

This Community forum is offered by Apple as an end-user to end-user technical issue support service (i.e., users like you helping other users). We are not Apple. All we know about Apple is what is provided in public documentation and our own experiences, so I have no idea what processes Apple uses with app quality. It wouldn't surprise me if that was up to the developer. In the end, feedback for Apple will likely get more attention if you send it using: Product Feedback - Apple

Apple may not respond but your comment will be read.
