M3 Max Macbook Pro no option for "Notify When Left Behind" in Find My

So I'm all excited about my new mac and got it setup with everything on it working as one would expect but yesterday I realised something weird. When i left the house with the the mac book at home my iphone only alerts me about the ipad and not the mac book. Now today I realised there was no option for the mac book on either the mac' Find My app or the rest of IOS devices for the mac book pro to switch "Notify When Left Behind" on, it just doesn't appear on any of the Find My apps.

I've followed several tutorials on apple about the separated notifications but that option "Notify When Left Behind" is never there for the mac book pro. All my OSs are up-to-date and are on the latest for both the mac book pro, ipad and iphone 16 pro max.

Only appears for the ipad. My old laptop use to alert but now that's been shipped back.

Would like some help here as none of the tutorials apply to my case.
