MacBook Air 2018 boot up problems

My MacBook Air 2018 come up only with the apple logo and no progress bar at the bottom and keeps rebooting to the apple logo. How do I get around this to reinstall the operating system and start fresh.

Try this:

To hard reset your MacBook, press and hold the power button for about ten seconds.

Your Mac will turn off. Wait a few seconds and turn it on again. For

the latest macOS versions, press and hold the power button until the

“Slide to power off” slider appears on the screen.Aug 11, 2023

Maybe this:

On your Mac, choose Apple menu > Restart. Immediately press and hold one of the following key combinations until you see the startup screen: Command-R: Start up from the built-in macOS Recovery System.
