Turn off previews in SMS body

Most responses to this question seem to be how to turn off previews in the notification area...

I want to turn off previews in the MESSAGE BODY. I just want to SEE the URL, not some goofy box with "tap to load preview" in it.

Most of these "enhancements' apple makes seem to make things worse. It would just be nice to opt out of some of them.
