Apple Mail after loading Sequoia

My Apple Mail has become useless since I loaded Sequoia. If I click on an email, it won't even display and I am lucky if I get emails downloaded at all. I have tried reloading my mail accounts, rebuilding the mailbox, deleting my cache and I am trying to boot into Safe Mode but I can't for the life of me find where I can delete my password to get into Safe Mode. It looks like it is going to happen, but then requires a password when I am holding down the shift key and it won't enter correctly unless I take my finger off the shift key. I can work around Apple Mail but truly loved when I had it. I am quite frustrated at this point; I like all hardware and software working correctly.

I believe if I could turn this off, I could get into safe mode and possible rectify the Apple Mail issues. Right now I have deleted all my accounts in Apple Mail and I am waiting for HOW I can turn off the password. I am running Sequoia 15.1 and with the minor update it got worse.

You do not have to log in to have system caches cleared when you see Safeboot in red (upper right corner.)

. It requires your admin Password to log into Safeboot mode to trouble shoot further—it is still you user account.

No go forget about it—Reboot as normal.

Quit Mail if it launches. When you go to re-launch Mail— hold the shift key down for a fresh launch of that app...

Check you Mail settings

Open Mail.app from the menu bar select Mail>Settings>Privacy disable:

Protect Mail Activity

Hide IP address

Block all remote content

compare your results, reboot if necessary.
