I have M4 MacBook Air and the Play Pause skip tracks keys suddenly stopped working I ran Apple Harware diagnostics noting came up. As Funtion keys they work they ksut won't control my media
I tried the Apple Music fix nothing is working.

A SafeBoot Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support will sort many anomalies
Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.
The current stable release of Sequoia including bug fixes, security updates is macOS 15.1

FWIW, there is no M4 MacBook Air.
