Apple is not going to try to stuff newer features into a device as hardware-limited as is iPhone 7.
You will also want to request the individual app developers extend their app support older devices, too.
The iPhone 7 was released over 8 years ago and updated for 6 years. This is incredibly long for technology. The device was discontinued 5 years ago.
