I just clicked to accept the new iCloud Ts&Cs and ALL 722 of my Notes have disappeared. I can see them on my iPad but they have GONE from my phone. I am frantic. I use the Notes all the time. Please help?

Other users who have encountered that glitch said the notes are still available when viewed on iCloud.com and signing out, then back into iCloud on the device resolved the problem. You can try a Force Restart first, have not heard if that has helped yet.

It may take a couple of attempts to get the speed and sequence of those key presses correct and the last step of holding the side button until the Apple logo appears could take up to 15 seconds. Ignore anything else on the screen during that time.

Troubleshooting Syncing iPhone Notes:
A. Start Here: If you're Missing Notes on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
B. Sync Through iCloud:
Look in iCloud settings or preferences on each device, and make sure that Notes is enabled. If it already is enabled, then disable Notes, and then enable Notes. See what happens when you open them on that device.
Hello and thank you for the reply. I have tried both options but no luck. I think it’s something to do with the Apple ID now being changed to Apple Account. My notes are all there on my iPad but have gone from my phone since I accepted the new iCloud Ts & Cs. I don’t know how to fix this. 😩
When I go to iCloud settings and disable notes - I get a message saying all my notes will be deleted. I am afraid to do this. My notes are already missing from my iPhone. I don’t want them to disappear from my iPad too.

Sync These Across Devices:
If it is telling you it would be deleted, then there are indeed notes there. So, what happens when you enable Notes in iCloud Settings on your other devices? Are they then seen in Notes in those devices?
No - they’re there on my iPad but not on the iPhone. The notes tab in iCloud on the phone is definitely enabled. I didn’t change anything except when I clicked to accept the new iCloud Ts&Cs last night. I was worried it was a scam but I googled and found it was legit. It’s just made my notes disappear but only from the phone.

New iCloud Session:
If these are all existent on your iPad, then sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, and then sign back in. Perhaps it all needs to resync?
When I click on Sign Out in iCloud it says it will delete everything in my wallet. And car keys will be permanently deleted. And find my iPhone will be cancelled. Am I in the right place ? signing out of the correct thing? I’m sorry to be such a pain. This actually happened to my daughter today too. Same thing - accepted T&C for new iCloud and lost all her NOTES. This MUST be glitch in the system 🤷♀️
