I was wondering if it was mandatory for me to update to the latest macOS version just to get the security updates or do the older versions get the same updates? I'm operating on MacBook Air M1 2020 Ventura 13.7 and scared to update due to battery life dropping significantly, but I'm keen on keeping my laptop safe. thanks in advance!
