Connecting iPhone to printer

I can print from my Mac and my iPad and my wife's iphone, but not from my iPhone, even though my iPhone is connected to the same internet as my printer and other devices.

When I select "print" the option screen shows "no printer selected". When I click on that field, and it displays my printer for about 3 seconds, then the field goes blank and says "No internet connection".

When I try to direct connect my iPhone to the printer, I also get "No internet connection". Again, it is only my devise that haas this problem.
