Notes, fitness/steps, dissapeared.....apps acting up

My wife has an Iphone XR. Storage is pretty full on it and we have been considering a new phone. This morning she realized all of her notes disappeared. Some of these were very important and went back a long time. Some of her fitness stuff that is tracked also dissapeared. Some apps were acting up also. Any thoughts on retrieving these notes? I checked icloud and recently deleted. nothing in there though. They were all visible yesterday on her phone.

Recovering Lost Notes:

If you have lost the notes, then here is what to try...

A. Start Here: If you're Missing Notes on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

B. Restore from a Backup:

Did your ever back up your iPhone with these installed? If so, back up you could back up your iPhone, and then restore it from the backup.

C.Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this issue, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this post.
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
