Kobo not working with Sequoia

After spending some time messing about with leads between my Mac and Kobo to try to get them to link-up to each other, I contacted Kobo as to whether they are aware about any compatibility issue with my Kobo reader and Sequoia. They acknowledged that there is a compatibility issue and that they are looking to address it. It would have nice had they mentioned this on their troubleshooting section of their website! Does anyone have any timescales as to when Kobo will update their software?
