Meta Verified Refund Issue
I’m reaching out for help with an issue that began after I downgraded my Meta subscription plan via the App Store. Previously, I was subscribed to the Business Verified Max plan for my Instagram page, but I decided to downgrade due to cost concerns. After doing this through the App Store, my subscription was automatically canceled on Instagram, yet Apple’s records still show it as active.
When I try to resubscribe to regain my features, I keep getting a "refund in progress" message. This message has been stuck for over a week now. However, Apple’s website shows that the refund was denied (I also appealed a few times and got denied for all).
I’ve already contacted Apple, but they pointed to their automated refund policy and said they couldn’t alter it. I’ve also reached out to Meta Support, who are currently investigating. I asked if they could either issue the refund through another method or manually reset my verification process, which is now stuck due to the pending refund. I don’t want a refund—just my features back.
Additionally, I attempted to resubscribe through the App Store to resolve the issue, but I was charged twice and am now paying for something I’m not receiving.
I hope this all makes sense, and I’d appreciate any assistance you can offer to help resolve this situation.
