Disk Not Ejected Properly - repeatedly for the last few weeks.
This question is all over the support community and it seems like there are no answers. I have sat down for less than 10 minutes and already I have had 7 notifications of "Disk Not Ejected Properly" when it hasn't been ejected at all. It is not a cable issue. Everything is properly connected. This is a huge problem when I'm trying to work on audio-video projects and need access to my files on my external hard drive.
This never used to happen and so for a few weeks I've been concerned the problem is with the cable but I've now bouight new cables, switched cables around and still it happens continuously.
We don't spend all the extra money on Apple and Apple supported products (Lacie in this case) so that we can't have an easy and simple workflow.
Since I began typing I haven't touched my external hard drive and it's already apparently ejected itself and reconnected five time! Oops! Six now. Maybe seven by the time I finally post this. Yep. I am assuming this is a Sonoma problem as I've had this mac for a good few years now. Can we please have this fixed?
Oh wow. Let's see now many times in the short period it took to write this:
