Apple Pencil Not Working (says connected)
My apple pencil is not working on my iPad. It says it is connected, is charging, and is recognized by my iPad. It usually works for about 15-30 seconds, and then my iPad stops recognizing that I am writing on it.
I have attempted:
- Resetting my iPad
- Powering on and off (both with the apple pencil attached and not)
- Replacing the nib (and tightening, etc.)
- Updating my iPad to OS 18.1
Is the pencil just dead? I can get a new one, but don't want to if the problem is with my iPad and not the pencil. For context, the pencil is almost five years old.
