Apple music stops playing on carplay when I when I switch to maps

This just started today, 11/04/24. When I connect to my Car play and start Apple Music, it plays just fine. If I switch to Apple Maps, Apple Music stops. I have restarted my phone, my truck, checked for updates, forget device, reinstalled device, checked for any settings that could cause this (found none), check to see if it was just maps, but it seems any other app pulled up on the screen will cause the Appke Music to stop. I have even tried putting CarPlay in split screen, but Apple Music will not play unless it is the only app displayed on the CarPlay screen.
