Switching between tabs within Pages

I know how to use keyboard shortcuts to switch between apps and files. But I can't find anything how to do that between tabs in Pages, which is basically between files. Not being able to hit Command + something makes the tabs very uninteresting to me. I would prefer leaving them as separate files and doing Command + ~. Does this shortcut exist or can I make one somehow?

When you have those Pages document windows merged into tabs, the application's Window menu shows you the keyboard shortcuts that are reserved by Pages for switching between previous (⌃⇧⇥) or next (⌃⇥) tabs. That is control+shift+tab or control+tab respectively.

As separate opened Pages documents, then the standard keyboard shortcut (⌘+`) of command + grave accent (found on the U.S. Keyboard tilde (~) key will switch between individual open document windows of the same application, just as it does for other applications.
