Different countries have different banking regulations. In some countries, the legal age to use electronic wallets is higher than 13.

Apple does not publish a country by country listing of age requirement for Apple Pay and Apple Wallet. Apple’s minimum age is 13, but Australia’s minimum may be higher.

Please contact Apple Support in Australia and inquire if they know the minimum age requirement for electronic wallets.
