Adobe Elements 2025

I have the new Adobe Elements 2025 and am having trouble printing pictures. The dialog box says on a Mac printing is done using Elements Editor instead of Elements Organizer, but the choices are different. Has anyone figured out how to get the same print options using Elements Editor instead of Organizer? I'm trying to print a Photo Package with different size pictures on one page - usually a standard option. I also need to choose the Print Style and print with a frame - no choices for either printing in Editor.

Elements functionality on a PC may be different from a Mac.

Does this sequence not work for you ... ?

  • Choose File > Picture Package
  • In the Picture Package dialog box, specify the desired options and click OK.
  • A contact sheet is created and it opens in the Photo editor workspace.
  • Choose File > Print
  • In the Print dialog box, specify the desired options.
  • Click Print

Your question is probably better addressed by Adobe support.

You might start with the Adobe Elements user guide, here is a link to the Printing section:

And the Elements community -> https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-elements/ct-p/ct-photoshop-elements?page=1&sort=latest_replies&filter=all&lang=all&tabid=discussions

@MartinR Thanks for the link to the Elements Community. I will try there. Sadly I've spent hours in the Adobe support lane going in circles and looking for Youtube videos and I think it's too new. In Adobe support there is little guidance for 2025 yet and what is there says how it's supposed to work, but parts of it are not accurate. I did figure out from there how to print but not with full functionality like with a PC. I was hoping maybe someone in the Apple community might have figured it out at this early date. The specialized Adobe chat support team I need is closed but I will post to the Elements community right away! Thanks again!

Hi MartinR,

Thanks for the tips! Yes and No - it doesn't quite work as those steps are laid out, it's a little different but eventually it does work - though only for the Picture Package (not the Contact Sheet) and without full functionality as it's described for a PC. There is no "Print Style" option which opens up some options. The Picture Package only appears as an option once you get to the Editor (not in Organizer), which is okay, but I should be able to select a Frame, for example. So I chose a frame separately in Editor for the actual edited picture, not just for printing, but it didn't print correctly. I'll have to play with that. For the Contact Sheet printing option, so far I can only get one picture in the top corner, I haven't figured out how to get a whole sheet of pictures to print or even show in the preview. It doesn't make sense to me that Mac users have less functionality in the program vs. PC users - or vice versa for that matter.

I'm a new user to Elements and only for my Mac so I don't know how everything is supposed to work other than I read instructions - step by step - but then it says as you showed above that it may be different on a Mac. But other than having to print from the Editor vs the Organizer, it doesn't explain the different choices, options that are missing, or any way to work around them, so far...

As you stated this is an Adobe issue, so I'll try to take it up with them now that it's a weekday. Thanks again for looking into this and for your suggestions!
